Poetry Cafe
We are all looking forward to sharing Poetry Cafe with you again! This is an annual event at Mountain Oaks and it is such a special time for our scholars. Scholars are busy learning about and writing poetry in our classes and they can’t wait to share them with you. Check out the blackout poetry our 6th-graders created!
Scholars meet in mixed-age group classrooms to share their poetry in a “café-like” setting. We dress in “beatnik” attire and “snap” our appreciation of our poets. Family members are welcome to come and may also share their poetry in this venue.
